Travel Inspired

It's been 2 weeks since I got back from Belgium, I'm so thankful for that trip showing me amongst the adventures of the strength I have.

I'm stopping myself from complaining about everything that went "wrong" and replacing it with how proud I am that I got through it all. Yes it was a shame after a tough year so far that it wasn't as rejuvenating but maybe it in fact has shown I can deal with a lot which in turn is why I'm now pushing to get back into studying.

The future seems uncertain especially if I fail this exam once more. The self doubts are hard to overcome. Trying to hone in on the little pleasures like flapjack at work or a hot chocolate to keep my spirit high and ready to fight.

Having things to look forward to also help when my mind is clear, I'm hopeful to see my cousin for the second time in my life (first time was 3 years ago!) by the end of the month. The end of next month is my birthday and I get to spend 2-3 weeks seeing my best friend whom means so much to me. I've really missed not having him close by.

Another motivation is to keep building so I can be a positive role model for the little ones in my life. My little nephew is almost 3 months old and growing so fast. My bestie's little girl is my little banana and never fails to make me smile. Missing my second home in Roseville,CA but hoping to go back within the next couple of years.
