Destiny

The path to our destiny, we are the creators.

Whilst I believe everyone has a destiny; no two paths will be the same. Just as if two people look out the same window on a bus their perspectives are completely different. As I've grown older I've also appreciated that everything in my past happened for a reason, to bring me to whom I am today, even through all the trauma and pain.

One day I'll tell all of my story, right now I feel proud of myself which is an emotion I'm not as yet used to feeling. Without going through and surviving it I wouldn't feel compelled to share my road to living out my dreams. I believe one of my purpose of living and being the sunshine when someone's skies are grey.

It's also fine to go through moments where you're not sure which path to take. Whilst listening to others can help, it's also important to listen to yourself. This is a skill I'm learning to build, that I can respectfully listen to what others say but do what I feel is right for me. I also have to recognise the opposite is true, that others can listen to me and do their own thing without being offended. To have fulfilment in life we need to take charge of our own choices and ultimately our own unique destiny...but that doesn't mean you have to go in he journey alone!
